Suicide

LOCATION: S 82^nd Rd/ E Elm Rd (Zion Church Cemetery)

On 07/07/2022 at approximately 1600 hours, Beatrice Fire/ Rescue, Pickrell Fire/ Rescue, and the Gage County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Cemetery at the Zion Church on S 82^nd Rd/ E Elm Rd. for a report of a suicide.

An investigation on scene indicated a 44-year-old woman from Adams, NE had completed suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The family was immediately notified of the matter, and the Pastor from the Zion Church assisted the Gage County Sheriff’s Office in the death notifications. The Gage County Attorney/ Coroner was notified, and responded to the scene.

No foul play was believed to have taken place.
