Injury Accident- Rollover W Aspen Rd

OFFENSE: Injury Accident-Roll Over

DETAILS: On April 3, 2024 at approximately 1743 hrs, the Gage County Sheriff's Office and Clatonia Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a single vehicle roll-over accident at 10668 W Aspen Road in North and West Gage County.

The vehicle in question, a 2004 Chevrolet Impala was eastbound on Aspen Road.  It was reported that an animal crossed the path of the eastbound vehicle.   This vehicle swerved to miss this animal and entered the south ditch area.  The driver attempted to correct and rolled 1/2 time, coming to rest on its top in the roadway.  The sole occupant/Driver was able to exit the vehicle.   The Driver was transported by Clatonia Rescue to Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln NE.  Both Lap and Shoulder restraints were in operation.  Neither speed, alcohol / drugs are believed to have been a factor.
