Single Vehicle Accident

DATE & TIME: April 18, 2023 at 1009 hours                                       

LOCATION: Hwy 112 at Hwy 8                                              

OFFENSE: Single Vehicle Accident

On the listed date and time Gage County Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle non-injury accident.  Ryan Ratute, 23 years old from Papillion Nebraska was driving a Western Star semi pulling a side-dump trailer full of dirt.  Ryan was attempting to turn north onto Hwy 112 from eastbound Hwy 8.  As Ryan made his turn the load shifted causing the trailer to roll onto its side along with the semi.  Hwy 112 was shut down for several minutes during the investigation.  Ryan did not report any injuries and was wearing his seatbelt. 

Other agencies on scene were Nebraska State Patrol, Beatrice Fire and Rescue, Odell Fire Dept.
