Distribution of a Controlled Substance

OFFENSE: Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Money, Child Neglect, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug investigation lasting more than two years, which concluded on Tuesday March 5, 2024 with the arrest of Ryan N. Justice, age 34, of Odell, NE.  Justice was contacted on a traffic stop at 5:50 AM and placed under arrest for Distribution of Methamphetamine.  Justice was found in possession of approximately 10 grams of meth along with 4.5 grams of marijuana, $378 in cash, a meth pipe, and numerous syringes. 

A search warrant was also executed on Justice’s residence in Odell where a broken meth pipe and marijuana related paraphernalia were found.  Justice’s residence was found to be filthy with unsanitary living conditions, and when combined with the suspected drug activity at the residence, was deemed to be unsafe for young children to be living there. 

Justice was lodged in the Gage County Detention Center on the above charges.

Also, as part of the investigation, a second search warrant was obtained for a residence in Beatrice.  That search warrant was executed by the Beatrice Police Department on 03/05/24 and criminal charges are pending from that search.
