Non Injury Accident Highway 41/Hwy 77 East Junction Yields Citation

DETAILS:

On November 22, 2024, The Gage County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area US HWY E 41 and US HWY 77 junc.  The nature of the call was a report of a two vehicle none injury accident.   The Gage County Sheriff’s Office investigated that scene and determined that a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Robert Barney of Adams, ran into the rear of a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Chloe Cushman of Utica Nebraska.  

The investigation determined that the driver of the Ford Explorer was distracted and ran into the rear of the Nissan Pathfinder.  A citation was issued to Robert Barney for following to close. 

Seat Belts were in operation.  Alcohol was not a factor.

Gage County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
