On Monday, 02-10-2025, at approximately 3:36 am, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a rural home outside of Odell, Nebraska to investigate a death.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a 46-year-old male deceased inside the house from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation did not uncover any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.  The Gage County Attorney’s Office was notified of the incident for their duties as county coroner.
