Two Vehicle Injury Accident

OFFENSE: Two Vehicle Injury Accident

On 05/06/23 at approximately 0730 hours, Jenna Forney 15 years of age of Wymore, NE, was operating a Chrysler Sebring traveling northbound on US HWY 77 near Locust RD. Forney failed to observe a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Derrie Seeman 41 years of age of Liberty, NE, in the northbound lane attempting to make a turn westbound onto Locust Road and rear-ended the pickup.

Forney and a passenger were transported to Beatrice Community Hospital and Heath Center to be evaluated for minor injuries. Seeman and a passenger were also transported to Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center for minor injuries.

Forney was cited for No Operator’s License and Following Too Closely. No alcohol or drugs are suspected. All occupants were utilizing seatbelts.

Other agencies responding to the accident were Beatrice Fire and Rescue and Beatrice Rural Fire.
