One Vehicle Non-Injury Accident

DATE & TIME: 03/07/23 at approximately 0900 hours                                                 

LOCATION: US HWY 77/Apple RD Cortland, NE                                          

OFFENSE: One vehicle non-injury accident                             

CASE #: 2023-1084                            

On 03/07/23 at approximately 0900 hours, Anastasiia Iun, 29 years of age, of Omaha, NE, was traveling southbound on US HWY 77 in a 2015 Ford Focus. Iun briefly looked at a cellular device that was displaying a map for her travels and when she looked back towards the roadway, she observed she had left the inside lane and entered a median striking a road sign.

Iun was treated and released by Cortland Fire & Rescue, reporting no injuries. Clatonia Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.

This was a one vehicle non-injury accident. Alcohol or drugs are not a factor. Seatbelts were being utilized.
