Tara Beu, age 29 of Lincoln, NE, has been arrested by the Gage County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a theft and arson investigation. On 07/06/21 a pickup truck and construction trailer, along with tools and equipment inside, were stolen from a residence in southern Beatrice. The pickup truck and trailer were subsequently located on fire in rural Gage County. Beu was arrested in Lincoln on 09/09/21 for Theft by Unlawful Taking, Arson, and Criminal Mischief. Beu has been lodged in the Gage County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing and is a joint effort between the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Beatrice Police Department, and Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s Office.
