OFFENSE: Suspicious Vehicles * Husbandry/Equipment Thefts * See Something – Say Something        

DETAILS: Sheriff Gustafson and the Gage County Sheriff’s Office encourage citizens to take precautions to secure their valuables, vehicles, and farm equipment/supplies against theft or damage.  Criminal activity such as theft or criminal mischief occur throughout the county, however these criminal acts have a higher likelihood of being deterred or the suspect apprehended if citizens call in suspicious vehicles or persons as soon as possible.  This allows deputies to respond to the area and catch the suspects in the act or with stolen property or, at a minimum, identify suspicious persons, which will likely curtail their criminal activity for awhile.

Provide as much information, such as location, description, license plates, direction of travel, et cetera as you can safely obtain and the dispatchers will relay that information to deputies and officers.

Information provided has the potential to aid in making an arrest and/or solving additional crimes.
