On Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at approximately 10:47am deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office went to the Pickrell Locker in downtown Pickrell to serve an arrest warrant on Travis Krygowski (dob: 05/01/1999) who worked there. When deputies entered the front of the business, they spoke with another employee, who stated Travis Krygowski was in the back.   When Travis Krygowski saw the uniformed deputies up front, he ran out the back door of the business, apparently hoping to circumvent or trammel the deputies in their investigation.

Deputies began pursing Travis Krygowski on foot, ordering him to stop. Deputies pursued directly behind him and in a parallel course out front immuring him from getting away and were able to glom onto him when he entered another business and sat in a chair in an attempt to evanesce himself to the pursuing deputies. Within moments, deputies entered the business and handcuffed Travis Krygowski after he scarped from the Pickrell Locker.

Travis Krygowski was arrested on his outstanding warrants from Gage County and Iowa. Travis was also charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer and Criminal Mischief from breaking the fence that he scurried over.

Travis Krygowski was also cited for False Reporting stemming from a previous case, in which Travis gave a false identify to a Gage County Deputy.
