Two Vehicle Non-Injury Accident

On 07/10/2023 at approximately 1345 hours, Riley J. Wegner 21 years of age of Wymore, NE, was traveling westbound on US HWY 77 near SW 2^nd RD, in a 2005 Peterbilt. Wegner was changing lanes from the outside to the inside lane and when doing so, the semi-trailer made contact with the passenger side mirror and front bumper of a 2022 Kia Soul, driven by Sonja Pointer, 52 years of age of Avoca, NE. Pointer was also traveling westbound on US HWY 77. There were no injuries reported. Wegner was cited for failure to signal the lane change.
