On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, The Gage County Sheriff’s Office, along with assistance from the Omaha Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit, executed a search warrant at 15126 Douglas Circle in Omaha, NE. This search warrant was part of an investigation into a stolen pickup truck, trailer, and racecar that had been reported stolen in Gage County on 06/14/2026, Investigators arrested Amy Wood-Berven, age 35, of Omaha for Theft by Unlawful Taking (more than $5,000) and Adam Stanger, age 38, of Omaha for Aiding and Abetting Theft by Unlawful Taking (more than $5,000). Both crimes are Class II felonies.

As part of the search warrant, investigators also located the stolen pickup truck at 15126 Douglas Circle. The bed from the pickup truck had been removed and it was later located inside of a garage in the Elkhorn area of Omaha. Investigators also located the stolen trailer and the stolen racecar in an unincorporated area of La Vista, NE in Sarpy County. Both Wood-Berven and Stanger were arrested and are being held in the Gage County Detention center.

The investigation is ongoing and the couple could be responsible for additional crimes in the Douglas County area.
