On 5/10/2025 at approximately 1840 hours, Southeast Communications received multiple calls about a vehicle accident at A St./ Cherry St. in Blue Springs, NE. Trevor Hurley (35) and Ryan Hurley (35) were riding their ATV northbound on A St. Shortly after passing Cherry St, they lost control and rolled into the ditch. Both riders were ejected from the ATV on impact in the ditch and several small trees. Trevor and Ryan were both taken by Air Ambulance to UNMC with serious injuries after being treated by Wymore and Beatrice Rescue Units on scene. The Gage County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident.
