Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of Two Individuals

LOCATION: E. Olive Rd. / S. 59^th Rd. – S. 66^th Rd.                                          

OFFENSE: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) with the Intent to Distribute, 5 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana More than 1 oz. and Less than 1 lb., Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 9 counts of Possession of a Legend Drug                   CASE #: 2023-3849                            

On Monday August 7, 2023 at approximately 5:30 AM deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a rural, wooded property in southern Gage County on E. Olive Rd. in-between S. 59^th Rd. and S. 66^th Rd.  The search warrant was part of an ongoing burglary investigation.

During a search of the property, deputies located Paul Pond, age 44 of Blue Springs, and Amber Pond, age 39 of Blue Springs, inside one of their campers on the property.  During a search of the camper deputies located approximately 4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 6 ozs. of marijuana, 108 unused plastic baggies, digital scales, plastic baggies with residue, and a large amount of pipes and bongs.  Deputies also located items stolen in two recent burglaries in Blue Springs and Wymore, NE. 

Deputies arrested both Paul Pond and Amber Pond on the above charges and they were lodged in the Gage County Detention Center.  The investigation continues.
