Possession of a Controlled Substance

On 09/01/22 at 11:00 AM the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Wymore Police Dept., Nebraska State Patrol and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) executed a search warrant at 212 N. 11^th St. in Wymore. The search warrant was part of an investigation into Roger Powell illegally manufacturing explosive devices. During a search of the residence, investigators located certain components used in the manufacturing of explosive devices but no completed devices were located. Investigators also located approximately ½ gram of suspected methamphetamine and two meth pipes. Roger Powell, age 62 of Wymore, is facing criminal charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
