ONE VEHICLE (MOTORCYCLE) INJURY ACCIDENT

OFFENSE: One vehicle (motorcycle) accident

DETAILS: On 07/30/26 at approximately 10:55 AM Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies, Dewitt Rescue, and Clatonia Rescue were dispatched to a one-vehicle motorcycle accident on SW 100^th Rd. near W. Chestnut Rd. The investigation determined that Nicholas Buss, age 41 of rural Dewitt, NE was driving south on SW 100^th Rd. on a motorcycle. The motorcycle drifted off the west side of the road, Buss lost control, and was thrown from the motorcycle. Buss was found laying in the ditch by a passerby, who called 911. Buss was transported to Bryan West hospital in serious condition. Buss was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
