One Vehicle Injury Accident - Gage County Sheriff

On Sunday, December 04, 2022, at approximately 1010 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Clatonia Fire and Rescue and Star Care were dispatched to a one-vehicle roll over injury accident on SW 42ndRd, near West Apple Road.
The accident investigation revealed the driver of a northbound silver 2006 Nissan Murano lost control, slid into the west ditch, through a barbed wire fence, then rolled over, coming to rest in a pasture on its driver’s side.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle, then flown to Bryan Hospital by Air Ambulance, Star Care.
Restraints not in use. Both passenger and driver side air curtains deployed. Speed is believed to be a component in the crash. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been a factor in the accident.
