Mutiple Offenses Lead to Arrest

On Monday, August 30, 2021, at approximately 2:41 am a Gage County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Highway 77 and the Homestead Truck Stop. The driver, 45-year-old Steven L. Johnson of Lincoln, had a suspended driver’s license. The investigation into this incident and subsequent search of the vehicle located several methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Johnson was taken to the Gage County Detention Center and booked on Driving Under Suspension, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana Less Than an Ounce, and Money and Controlled Substances Violations.
