DETAILS: Cayd Wilgers, 21 years of age of Beatrice, NE, was traveling northbound on S. 94thRoad, just south of E. Lilac Road in his 2005 Chevy Silverado pick-up, when he lost control of the vehicle. Wilgers’ stated the back of the pickup started to slide in one direction and he was unable to gain control of it. This caused the pickup to collide with a concrete bridge barrier and flip into the bottom of a small waterway. Wilgers and a juvenile passenger were taken to Beatrice Community Hospital for minor injuries. Beatrice Rural Fire and Rescue assisted on scene.

Alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the accident. Seatbelts were in use during the accident.
