DETAILS:
The Gage County Sheriff’s office investigated a two-vehicle injury accident on 05/24/2024 at 0032 hours at the intersection of US HWY 77 and HWY 8. The investigation revealed that Dale Egger, 67 years of age, from Wymore, NE, was operating a 2008 Saturn Vue southbound on US HWY 77 when his vehicle crossed the median at the intersection of US HWY 77 and HWY 8 and collided into a 2019 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Bryn Duever, 44 years of age, from Marysville, KS who was stopped at the stop sign. Wymore Fire and Rescue along with Beatrice Fire and Rescue responded to the scene to assess the occupants for injuries.
Egger was transported to the Beatrice Community Hospital by Beatrice Fire and Rescue for non-life-threatening injuries. Duever and her occupants reported no injuries.
Accident investigation is on-going.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this accident.
