DETAILS:On April 17, 2024 at 1732 hrs, Deputies of the Gage County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a single vehicle injury accident at S 134 rd/ Sargent Rd North of Filley Nebraska.
Upon arrival Deputies learned that a southbound pickup driven by John P Parde of rural Gage County entered the curve at this aforementioned location. Driver
Inattention caused the vehicle to cross the center line. The driver overcorrected and lost control, left the roadway and collided with the roadway sign and traveled down the embankment into the east field. The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle. It was determined that seatbelts were not in use.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
Beatrice Rescue assisted at the scene. The driver was not transported from the scene.
Gage County Sheriff’s Office in charge of the Investigation.
