News Release

DATE & TIME: 06/14/2025 & 2127 hours LOCATION: Pickrell Rd & S 110 Rd
OFFENSE: Accident/Injury, Driving under influence of alcoholic liquor or drug (60-6,196)

CASE#: 2025-2745 DETAIL

On June 14, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Pickrell Road and S
110th Road. A vehicle was driving west on Pickrell Road when it crossed over the center line and
entered the ditch on the south side of Pickrell Road. Adams Fire & Rescue arrived on the scene and
assessed the driver for any injuries.

The driver was identified as Judd Dean Alberts, 21 years of age, from Beatrice. The accident
investigation revealed that Alberts had been driving under the influence of alcohol.

Judd was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and was transported to the
Gage County Detention Center, where he was lodged.

Unknown if seatbelt was utilized and unknown if speed was a factor in the accident.
