Executed Search Warrants Ends With Two Arrests

LOCATION: 306 N. 8^th St. and 308 N. 8^th St.; Wymore, NE                                           

OFFENSE: Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Legend Drug

On Monday November 7, 2022 at approximately 6:25 AM the Gage County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants in Wymore at 306 N. 8^th St. and 308 N. 8^th St. as part of an ongoing investigation.  The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Wymore Police Department and Beatrice Police Department.  During the search at 308 N. 8^th St. deputies located three firearms, one which was reported stolen in a February 2022 Gage County burglary.  Deputies also located a pill of acetaminophen / hydrocodone, a Schedule II controlled substance and a bottle of liquid testosterone cypionate, which is a Schedule III controlled substance, and is a liquid form of steroids.  Deputies arrested Logan Retherford, age 23 of Wymore, and Taylor Tart, age 18, of Wymore. The investigation is ongoing.
