Domestic Assault and Child Abuse

DETAILS: At approximately 7:20 pm on 10/04/2025, Gage County deputies responded to an assault in progress that was in front of the residence at 1837 S 82^nd St. alongside the highway. During the investigation, deputies spoke with witnesses and reviewed recorded videos of the incident. It was discovered that Martina Narvaez, 36-years-old, from Beatrice, NE had gotten into an argument with a family member while driving down the highway. The victim family member attempted to get away from the situation by exiting the vehicle at 1837S 82nd Rd. Martina then drove the vehicle at the victim who, fortunately, was able to get out of the way. Martina parked the vehicle northbound in the southbound lane of the highway and exited the vehicle, going after the victim.  The victim advised deputies that Martina slapped him about 5 times. The victim advised deputies that Martina pulled his hair to get him to the vehicle and once they were back at the vehicle, Martina slammed his head into the car.

Martina had her infant daughter in the vehicle at the time of this incident.

Firth Fire and Rescue were called to the scene to assess Aburto for any injuries.

Martina was arrested for 3^rd degree Domestic Assault, Child Abuse, and a Parking on the Highway violation. Martina was lodged at the Gage County Detention Center for her charges.

Martina is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
