The Gage County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into a violation of the Nebraska Sex Offender Registration Act involving 25-year-old Alejandro Leon Foster of Beatrice, failing to verify his information on the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry during October 2026 as is required by law.

Investigators and deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Nebraska State Patrol Sex Offender Registration Unit and found that Foster had violated the Nebraska Sex Offender Registration Act by failing to come to the Sheriff’s Office during October 2026.

A deputy from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office contacted Foster at his residence near the Beatrice Middle School and took him into custody. He was transported to the Gage County Detention Center where he was booked into jail.
