Two Vehicle Injury Accident

DETAILS: On 09/20/25 at approximately 1030 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle injury accident. When deputies arrived, they observed two vehicles heavily damaged on W. Juniper Road. Through the accident investigation, it was found that a black Jeep Cherokee, driven by Veronica Schroeder, 52 years of age of Plymouth, NE, was traveling eastbound on W. Juniper Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. Schroeder’s vehicle entered the intersection and collided with a blue Toyota Surf, driven by Tony Ebbers, 60 years of age of Beatrice, NE, that was traveling northbound on SW 103^rd Road.

Ebbers was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Schroeder was assessed at the scene for minor injuries and not transported.

Those responding to the scene were Beatrice Rescue and Beatrice Rural Fire. No alcohol or drugs were involved and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Schroeder was issued a citation at the scene for Violation of a Stop Sign.
