Single Vehicle Injury Accident

On July 25th, 2021, at 2318 hrs, Clatonia Fire & Recuse and the Gage County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle injury accident. The accident occurred on SW 114^th Road south of Birch Road.

An accident investigation conducted at the scene showed that a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by Heidi Clary, a 39-year-old female of DeWitt, was traveling southbound on SW 114^th Road. Clary left the roadway to the south, driving through a yard, before striking a tree. Occupant restraints were in use. Airbags in the vehicle were deployed.

Clary was transported to Bryan West by Clatonia Rescue with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital by Clatonia Rescue with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this accident. This accident is still under investigation by the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.
