Sheriff's Office Receives LifePak AED's

The Gage County Sheriffs Office received a generous grant of 14 LifePak AED's that will be placed in our patrol vehicles as well as our two corrections transport vans. This was made possible by the Harry B. Helmsley Trust. In total the state of Nebraska was given 2,500 AED's to put in the hands of our local law enforcement. Correction’s Officer Brian Polson was trained by DHHS on the devices and we can now provide in-house training to our Deputies and Correction Officers on how to use the state of the art devices. Having them in our patrol cars is going to help bridge the gap between being the first on scene and a rescue crew arriving.
