On 09/01/2022 at approximately 1545 hours, Deputy Chavez clocked a vehicle, with his radar, traveling southbound on US HWY 77 near Locust RD at 102 MPH. Deputy Chavez attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. A pursuit ensued and came to an end at SW 45^th RD and W. Maple RD due to a tire coming off a rim of the suspect vehicle.

The driver, Trevor Lee Grace, 19 years of age of Beatrice, was placed under arrest for traffic violations and numerous narcotic offenses.

The Nebraska State Patrol also responded and assisted the Gage County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
