Driving Lft of Center - Two Vehicle Non-Injury Accident

LOCATION: US HWY 77 & H ST. Wymore, NE                                 

OFFENSE: Driving left of center – two vehicle non-injury accident

On 03/31/2022 at approximately 0800 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and Wymore Fire and Rescue, responded to a two-vehicle accident in Wymore, NE. After investigation, it was found that Elizabeth Sayers, 20 years of age of Wymore, NE, was traveling southbound on US HWY 77, in a Pontiac Vibe, near H Street when the vehicle crossed the centerline and entered the northbound lane where it collided with a northbound Chrysler Pacifica driven by Lavone Rabstejnek, 38 years of age of Wymore, NE. Sayers reported she fell asleep and this caused her to cross the centerline.

Sayers was the only occupant and reported no injuries. Sayers was cited for Driving Left of Center.

Rabstejnek had three minor children as passengers. Rabstejnek admitted herself and the three children at a nearby hospital to be examined for any possible injuries.

None injuries were reported at the scene.
