On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Gregory Louis, an inmate at the Gage County Detention Center, deliberately damaged a window in the facility in the presence of corrections officers.

An investigator for the sheriff’s office was notified and Louis was arrested for criminal mischief to property with a value less than $500.00, issued a criminal citation, and returned to the jail.

The corrections officers are providing reports, statements, and video evidence for the case.
