One Vehicle Injury Accident on Southwest 89th Road near Southwest Juniper Road

OFFENSE:  One Vehicle Injury Accident

On February 17, 2015 at approximately 1125 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a non-injury accident on SW 89th Road just north of SW Juniper Road.

Kenneth Jackson, 53, of Burlington, Iowa was southbound on SW. 89th Road driving a 2015 International Semi pulling a Tank Trailer when he attempted to move over as he met a northbound vehicle on a bridge.  Jackson’s semi struck the bridge rail then traveled into and came to rest in a pasture on the west side of SW. 89th Road.

Jackson complained of minor injuries but refused medical treatment at that time. 

Vehicle restraints in use.  Neither alcohol nor drugs were believed to be involved.
